Keeping Busy

I finally got my new camera! Now I can take pictures like crazy again. The summer is almost over now. Time has been flying and I haven't gotten a chance to get to this website these days.

My pregnancy is coming along just great. I hadn't gained any weight until this last month...then I gained seven pounds! I got a bad hair cut too so I'm looking just great. Actually everybody says that my hair is cute, but it just wasn't what I wanted. She cut it really, really short. I guess I won't have to pay for another haircut for awhile at least.

The weekend before last we went to the fair up here in the Skagit Valley. The girls had fun. It is a small fair, so it is just enough for us. We stay just until the girls get tired...by then we've seen everything anyway. It seems like we've done other fun stuff this summer, but I just can't remember it. It's because I don't have that many pictures to remind myself. I'll remember once I get my disposable cameras developed. How did we ever survive without digital cameras?

Mom came out last week and we had a wonderful time. We went to Ikea (a great furniture store) in Canada and in Seattle while she was here. The girls got new bunkbeds so now they are sharing a room. It seems to be going over really well. They even take naps in the same room just fine. The bunkbeds are nice because they can't see each other that way. The did wake Gramma up too early in the morning every day she was here, but other than that they are doing great in the same room. They always played in that room together anyways. Now there is an official guest room...at least until the baby is born. Also, when I start snoring because I always do when I'm pregnant...Mike can go sleep in there if he wants too. We also took Mom to the beach while she was here where she got a nice sunburn. Oops. The girls absolutely love the beach. We are going on a camping vacation to the real Washington beaches tomorrow. We can't wait. I'll try to take lots of pictures while we are gone.

So, know that we are doing well and enjoying ourselves this summer. The girls are happy and healthy and so am I. Love to you all!

Wonderful Days of Summer

The days have been passing by so quickly and so pleasently. It has been hot here! Like in the 90's and I know that isn't hot to most of you, but then you all have air conditioning. Kelby has continued to swim almost everyday. Tegan has even gotten in there too. Mike is working on a little movie, so hopefully he'll get that up and running soon.

I am starting to show now, but I haven't gained any weight yet with the baby. I probably will have gained some by my next appointment. I'm not tired at all anymore and my allergies are getting so much better because everything is dying off in the heat.

Last weekend we went camping with the whole Wright family to celebrate cousin Riley's birthday. It was so much fun. The girls and thier cousins played all day. We found a beautiful campsite that was near a cool creek...and I do mean literally cool! The dads made a wading area for the girls and then there was a nice place for the adults to dunk to cool off. I even went in it! The only bummer was when I got stung by a bee. My arm hurt for days afterward, although I managed to survive. I hope we get some more camping in before the end of the summer. It stays nice enough to camp almost all of September here, so we should manage.

This week was Vacation Bible School for Kelby. She got to be gone from me for 3 hours everyday. She didn't seem to mind at all and was bummed when I told her that today was the last day. The first day was a little hard for me because I missed her. Tegan kept saying, "I want my Kelby." Just a cutie! Tegan and I got some alone time which was really fun too.

On Monday this week after VBS for Kelby, we took Riley down to the Build-A-Bear workshop for her birthday bear. She had fun picking it out and stuffing it. She named it Brownie. The girls had a good time, but were plenty wiped out by the time we got in the car to drive home. I just love that Build-A-Bear workshop. We probably won't go again until Naomi and Tegan turn 4-years-old I guess.

That's about it around here. Everyone is really happy and healthy, so we aren't complaining! Love to you all! (PS. Enjoy the new guestbook since it is finally up and running again.)

Summer 2015

This is how we roll… Summer has been full of studying for me, working for Mike, Kelby, and Tegan, and hanging out for Anika! We have spent ...
