Another Month Almost Gone

Today is a rainy day. We haven't done much today except take the girls to McDonald's for lunch. There in the play area, they goofed off for probably an hour. Otherwise I've been drinking coffee and doing my homework. Yes, homework. Remember I said I was taking a writing class? Well, it won't help me much for writing here because it is about fiction. I'll have written a 25-30 page short story after the next 10 weeks! It is a very interesting class. It takes a ton of work...and motivation, but I am enjoying it. My story revolves around a sick daughter, but that is because I know how to tell that story.

Not much else has been happening around here since Christmas. That is the joy of it. We've gotten to relax. Kelby continues to have her port flushed down at Children's once a month. I hate the drive, but I'd rather do that than have her doctor up here do it. He's just not as used to it as the gals down at the hospital. It doesn't bother her a bit when we go down there to do it.

I guess that not much is going on. I'm just writing her to take a break from my "homework."

The girls are doing great. Anika is really walking now! That means she's getting into trouble. I'm loving this age right now. Mike and I are both appreciating her babyhood because she is probably our last tiny baby.

Everything else that is going on is pretty much the same as always. Oh, maybe I'll have something to write after Mom gets her on Thursday. The girls are excited because "Gramma is coming to town." Yes, just imagine that to the song, "Santa Claus is coming to town"...that is what they were singing today.

Love to all for now.

Summer 2015

This is how we roll… Summer has been full of studying for me, working for Mike, Kelby, and Tegan, and hanging out for Anika! We have spent ...
