No Computer!

Here's the best excuse for not writing that I've had for awhile...I have no computer. I had to send my little friend off in the mail last week. It was having some serious hard drive issues, so hopefully they fix it and get it back to me soon! At least it is still under warranty. It isn't really a good excuse though since I can update from my pocket pc.

Not too much going on around here. We didn't do anything too exciting for Valentines day, but Mike and I went out the Friday after. We ate dinner at a place called Guseppi's. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The little Italian owner sat us and everything. It was fun and delicious. We paid a babysitter that time, but the next Friday Mike's mom watched the girls for his birthday. That time we went shopping to buy me stuff! That was REALLY fun!

On Saturday Mike ran a race in LaConner. I went with and because the girls were still with Debbie, it was a relaxing, beautiful, sunny morning. LaConner is one of the neatest little shopping towns. I shopped while Mike ran 6 miles. I think I had the better end of that deal.

We are still loving the sunshine around here. It has actually dried out! The girls are outside scootering all afternoon these days. They also like playing with the neighbour girl. She is only five, but Kelby even enjoys playing plastic horses with her.

Of course I'm still working on church stuff. I'm still enjoying it. We are starting a monthly breakfast meeting in April. It should be pretty popular.

Well, my excuse for keeping it short is that my pocket pc's battery will die if I say online too long, so I better go for now.

Catching Up

We are all doing great. I really can't believe that January is already gone. January is always an odd month. Nothing that exciting really happens in it. The best we can say is we have had a bunch of snow falls, though they haven't been too deep or stuck around too long. That's okay because we can go and find it whenever we really want it. Mike went skiing and got some great photos while he was there.

We had a nice day off on Martin Luther King Jr day. I took the girls to Haggens for lunch and then let them play at the park. The sun was out, but it was REALLY cold. It didn't phase them and the enjoyed playing in the icy mud the most!

We had a fun weekend this weekend. I had some ladies over on Friday night for some crafting. On Saturday we drove up to Newhalem, where we sometimes camp in the summer, and played in the snow. Those girls just LOVE playing in the snow and they seem to appreciate the family outing. The kept saying "Thanks for bringing us here!" over and over again. It really was fun. Then, of course, there was the Superbowl yesterday. We had family over for food and the game. Mike got HDTV hooked up to his projector, so it was a nice looking show. I didn't really watch much of it, but I had fun eating all the food!

2008 02 February
I am on the look out for a tent trailer now. I have been watching online for a used one. I guess I have camping on my mind. We want to get a tent trailer to make camping a breeze. I hope to do more of it this spring, summer, and fall. With a tent trailer we might try farther distances like Yellowstone Park and the Oregon coast. Also, Mike can map out all the races in the northwest and we can have a great family adventure while he runs lots of miles!

Regular life is great these days. I cleaned the whole house today...which wasn't so great, but other than that things are good. I guess I better go finish up my laundry to finish off my Monday Work Day.

The girls finished up thier cookie "pre-sales", but at the end of the month those cookies and more will come in. Then we'll be at the stores selling cookies to passers by. They call that "site sales".

Summer 2015

This is how we roll… Summer has been full of studying for me, working for Mike, Kelby, and Tegan, and hanging out for Anika! We have spent ...
