Loving Autumn

I can't believe that this month is already gone almost. Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The weather has been cold, but sunny at least. Except when Mom was here, it was miserably rainy. We enjoyed having Mom here for her visit, but I feel bad because I was so distracted. I was preparing for my speaking for that church Christmas event! I did it on Thursday. I am now a "professional" speaker!! It went really well and was a lot of fun. I put so much work into it. It was a talk about simplifying Christmas. Whenever I practiced it at home it took me an hour, but in front of people, it only took me about 35-40 minutes. I don't know why I go so much faster. I felt pretty comfortable though and the ladies had really nice feedback for me afterwards. They said it really made them think and want to simplify their own Christmases. That made me so happy. Now we'll see what happens with my speaking. I have no expectations, so I'll be happy no matter what. Besides, now I can relax and think about the baby.

I am 34 wwks pregnant out of 40. Only six weeks to go and that's if I don't have the baby early. I haven't decorated for the baby or anything yet. It is weird because I barely remember I'm pregnant sometimes. I've been keeping myself so busy. The girls are excited about their new sister. I hope that it doesn't change the dynamics around here though.

The girls have been getting along so well and act like they are best friends. Sometimes Kelby takes advantage of Tegan. The other day Kelby had eaten most of her candy necklace and talked Tegan into trading with her even though Tegan had way more. I don't really know what to do about that. I haven't been taking as many pictures lately. I got out of the habit when my camera was lost and haven't gotten back into it again. Gramma took lots of pictures while she was here...I should have posted some of hers.

I need to get caught up on my scrapbooking before the new baby comes because I have a feeling that will get me back into taking lots of pictures again...I don't want to get too behind.
