Hello out there! How is everyone doing? I see that the Diamondbacks are doing great in the world series...go Arizona! Sorry that the Mariners aren't playing against them. Gramma Dee Dee is visiting, so we have been enjoying her. I was out of it for quite a while because I had my wisdom teeth out on Thurday. I can't even remember Thursday at all. I am still a little sore, but I have medicine for that. I am all done nursing Tegan now. She did really well on the bottle for the days I was on the medicine, so it is time to be done with nursing. I am ready. Kelby is doing great. She is really enjoying Gramma DeeDee. Gramma DeeDee wants me to tell you all that Kelby is talking in full sentences and seems to understand everything. She is a normal little two year old...and a genius...gramma says. I'll get some pictures up sometime soon. Love you all!

I actually did try to update this a couple days ago, but have been having much computer problems lately. My laptop is out of commission for a couple more days, so I had to work on a different computer.
We are all doing pretty great. The nurse called on Friday and said that Kelby's other blood test came back with normal levels, so it doesn't look like there is any active cancer in her still! Yeah! She is doing great and eating like crazy.

I got a myself a really neat saw to make crafty wood art. So, needless to say, I have been crafting away the last week. I would love to make stuff to sell at craft fairs, but right now I am just going to work on everyone's Christmas presents! If I come up with enough good ideas maybe I'll make enough to sell at this time of year next year. I know that I can make stuff to sell at our neighborhood's annual garage sale. It would be a perfect time of year to sell some of my creations, but I just don't think I can get enough done in time. But...everyone can expect homemade Christmas presents this year!

Mike had his game night last night. This time there were 14 guys and their computers here from 12 in the afternoon to 12 midnight last night! They just have so much fun doing that. The wives all met at a different house and we had a great time too! We had the kids, but we still managed to fit in pedicures, rubber stamping, pizza and we all dyed our hair too! It was a great day. Kelby loved playing with the other kids, but she was sure tired out. I hope that everyone likes my hair color...it is a brownish-red...I suppose I should put up a picture...but I'll wait till I do it up nice tomorrow. (PS...if you don't like it...don't worry it is a wash out color.) Here are some pictures from earlier this week.

 

Okay, so I just can't stop taking pictures with my new camera! What's a girl to do? We went to a pumpkin farm yesterday. Kelby had a great time! Today we went to church and had a regular lazy day...watching sports and making homemade chicken noodle soup. Kelby LOVES soup. At least it is good for her. Hope you all had a good weekend too. I know you'll love these pictures.

Nothing much is going on. I just wanted to put some pictures online from my new camera. This camera takes really clear pictures (when you remember to focus it). Tegan is easier to get pictures of now because she'll stay still. Kelby is always moving!

We got the call from the Doctor today and they say that all seems well with Kelby! That was very exciting news. I got to breath a great sigh of relief. The radiologist said that her jaw looked stable and there was no new tumor in her abdomen. The bone scan results weren't final, but I doubt we'll hear back unless something comes up. The radiologist that looked at those scans was there when we were getting the scans done. He whispered to me that everything seemed fine, but he'd look closer. So, we are all happy that things look good. Everything is great. I got my new digital camera today, so I'll get more pictures up tomorrow. I would have had more today, but my computer was having some problems. At least I got one up! Love to you all!

Hello there! We are all doing much better. Kelby is feeling pretty good...except a little bit of a runny nose, but she doesn't complain. Tegan never got any cold. The girls and I went to the zoo on Thursday. It was so much fun. We met Aunty Heather, Emma and Naomi down there. The girls (Kelby and Emma) had so much fun...they were running and jumping. Sadly, I forgot my cameras at home....but we bought a disposible camera and took some really cute fun pictures of the girls together. I just have to wait to get them developed and scan them to put online. Kelby's blood counts are really good this week...especially for the fact that this is the first week of her Accutane and she is usually way lower. (I put the blood counts on the old website.) She has scans next week on Wednesday. I am nervous, but hopefully they'll come back clear and then I'll allow myself to relax a little.
Our MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) group starts up next week on Tuesday, so I have been busy getting ready for that this last week. I really missed our meetings over the summer.

Our first MOPS meeting was this morning! It was so much fun. I get energized when I am around all those Mommies. There were 50 ladies there. We doubled in size over last year's group of ladies. I hope we can handle everyone...that means there are around 90 kids that we have to take care of for all those ladies. That is the hard part. Kelby and Tegan didn't actually get to go today because they both had little runny noses, so I didn't want to give it to the other kids. Gramma Debbie watched the girls for me. Kelby has her scans tomorrow, so I am a little bit nervous, but I will be glad to get them done. I will be getting my new digital camera on Thursday, so I'll be getting lots of pictures to post then. Mike bought it for me for my birthday, but it hasn't come yet. We had a pretty boring weekend. I don't really remember what we did. I ran some errands. It was also a free movie preview weekend, so we watched some movies. Mike is playing on a Parks and Rec Basketball team on Mondays now. That will be good for him. Kelby and Tegan are doing good except those little runny noses. Kelby is a little lazy these days too. I hope it is just this lingering cold. She seems happy enough otherwise. Well, we did decide that Kelby really did have that yucky sore throat. We know because Mike got it on Saturday night. So, we had an uneventful weekend, but I didn't mind. I am getting far in my scrapbooking at least. Tegan and I are still cold-free! Mike was feeling better enough today to still go to work. It is a little foggy this morning, but hopefully it will burn off later today so Kelby can go outside and play. We have a few errands to run too
