I just thought I'd write quick tonight so I don't have to worry about making a new button for February tomorrow. Can you believe another whole month has gone by? We had a really long day down at the hospital and in traffic today. They just seemed to make us wait longer this time to get things going. They had her sedated, but she woke up when I put her on the CT table, so we had to wait til she fell asleep again. They didn't seem phased by the scans, but they didn't say anything to me about them. I am guessing that all is well. Hopefully Dr. Louie will check on the results and call tomorrow. Kelby threw up after she woke up, but they said that happens sometimes. She drank a whole bunch of water right away on an empty stomach, so maybe that bothered her.

I had a Stampin' Up! party tonight that was really fun. Now I am ready to go to bed. It has been a busy day. Love to everyone!

We are all better now! Tegan took a full week to recover, but now we are all good. Of course we are still stuck at home because the roads are yucky now since we have gotten some snow. Kelby enjoys playing outside in the snow though. I helped her build a little snowman last Tuesday, but her Daddy built some big snowman on Sunday.

I finished painting my room last week! I was very excited to finish that project. I also sewed the curtain and pillow shams. Now I can work on my scrapbooking. I haven't done that in a while. I have had a few Stampin' Up parties these last few weeks because there is a big sale going on right now. That has been fun. I have one coming up on Thursday night too.

Thursday during the day we'll be down at Group Health to get Kelby's next round of scans done. Kelby seems to be just fine now. She hasn't been complaining about her tummy anymore lately. She went potty in the toilet again today, so I am getting excited about getting her potty trained. I've set a day in February as a goal to have her potty trained. That should be a good incentive for me to keep consistent.
Tegan is crawling now. She was getting around already by rolling, but now she is up on her knees. She likes to get and eat the shoes by the front door, so that is a bit of a problem. Now she has to learn what the "no, nos" around the house are, so that has been more challenging lately.

I am a little stir crazy because we haven't been able to get out of the house much during the day. I can't complain though because I got to get out three times last week while Mike stayed with the kids. I might venture out today...I'll just have to drive slow...but when you need milk, you need milk. What's a mom to do?

Well, that's the news for this week. I hope everyone else is doing good. Love to you all!

Kelby eats about 2 bananas a day!

They're alive! These snowmen moved during the day, then froze again in this position!

Well, we've all been sick around here. Kelby and I are finally better, but Tegan has it now. She seems to be handling it better then we did though. It was a pretty bad cold with aches and a fever. It took Kelby a whole week to get over it. Needless to say, it has been a long week! We had a lot of fun with Mom when she was here, but since then, we haven't done anything at all. I got out for a minute on Friday to take Tegan to her well baby appointment. Tegan now weighs 15 lbs 7 oz. She's eating all kinds of things now without having to grind them like: cooked peas, canned fruits, bread, bananas and don't forget the Cheerios. Plus, she just figured out how to crawl this evening! She is just such an amazing little girl. Tegan got dedicated at church the Sunday that Mom was here. She was dressed in my dress from when I was a baby. It was so cute. Other than that I just can't remember anything exciting happening this last week. This week should be much better. Mike never got this cold at least.

Hello out there! Sorry we didn't write before...we have been having so much fun with Gramma DeeDee this week. Kelby's appointment on Wednesday went great. She is doing just great. He listened to her tummy and heard a gurgling. He thinks her tummy ache is something like indigestion. He got to feel really deep in her tummy and couldn't feel anything. We are due for some scans later this month or February. He was pleased with how her jaw feels too. She is doing just great. She is an animated little 2 year old!

We have been keeping really busy with Gramma! We went shopping on Thurday and found lots of great sales!!! Then yesterday we did a little more shopping and went out to lunch. Later while the girls slept, Mom and I went on to a cool website where you could take your own picture and add different hair styles to it! It was so much fun. I even found one that I really like and I went and got it cut today! So we are having a fun time. Mom and Kelby had a tea party today too! Mom's also been working on getting Kelby to use the potty. She did it one time now! We were really excited. I think it will only take her a couple times to get it figured out.

I'll get some pictures taken soon. Tegan is being dedicated at church tomorrow, so that will be special for Mom to be here for that. Bye for now.

Happy New Year! So sorry that I haven't written yet this year! I have been seriously working on my "New Year's Resolution Projects!" We had a wonderful holiday season. I hope you all did too! Kelby has been having a blast playing with all her new toys. Tegan has been changing like crazy. She is rolling all over the place to get where she wants to be. She still hasn't figured out the crawling thing, but why bother when she can get anywhere anyways. Maybe she'll go straight to walking...who knows. She also got another bottom tooth. Man, she can bite hard too! Kelby loves to play with Tegan, but is just a little too rough with her.

On New Year's Day I started painting Kelby's toy room (the huge closet under the stairs). I wanted to make it look like a house inside. It turned out so cute! I included a couple pictures. That took me a couple days. Kelby just loves it. Especially the fireplace. I added a window, a tea cup shelf, potted plant, a mouse hole, a dresser, a decorative border in the "bedroom", and a skylight looking out on the stars. I hope my kids think I am a cool mom when they grow up! My next project was the garage. For some reason I just had to get it cleaned and organized. I rearranged until I was sore. It is much nicer now though. I just love organizing! So, now I am working on my bedroom. I have one wall painted and I am working on a "garden mural" on the other wall (I am just masking off lattice and adding painted ivy so it looks like it is growing up the lattice.) That is still a work in progress. I'll finish it up this week. So, you see, I have been a bit busy lately. The bedroom is my last major project for awhile, so I'll relax a little again. Though, I don't really need to relax because I LOVE doing projects. Next I'll work on my scrapbook again...I am eight months behind!

Kelby has a doctor appointment in Seattle on Wednesday. It has been a long time since she had an appointment. My mom gets to come see us the same day. That will work out great since I'll already be down there for that appointment! Kelby is excited to see Gramma DeeDee! Me too! Kelby has been complaining about a "tummy ache" often lately, so we're going to have the doctor check that out for us. I am not sure if she is just saying that because she has to go number 2...or if she just wants attention and the "warm pillow" that we give her for her tummy. The warm pillow is a bag of rice you warm up in the microwave. Hopefully it is just a normal thing.

Anyways, we are all doing great. I am getting this year started with a bang by getting all these projects done! I love it. Hope you are all doing great!

This is how we roll… Summer has been full of studying for me, working for Mike, Kelby, and Tegan, and hanging out for Anika! We have spent ...
