I'm so sorry that it takes me so long in between updates. I guess that these websites have sadly gone to the bottom of my to do list. I am re-making this website, so perhaps it will be easier to update. I'd like to write more often. It is, after all, good practice if I ever want to be a writer.
The last big thing to happen was Tegan's birthday party. I still need to have her make her thank you notes. I'm sorry they haven't gone out yet. She loves everything she's gotten and has enjoyed spending a little of her birthday money. I can't believe what a big girl she is. They are all growing up so quickly.
Kelby's big news is that she can now ride on only two wheels! No more training wheels on her bike. She is the most determined girl I have ever seen. She just decided she wasn't going to have the training wheels on and she tried and tried and tried and fell and fell and fell. She never gave up, but her legs bore the signs of that determination in multiple bruises. She never even cried when she fell. I'll try to talk Mike into making a video for you all.
Anika is getting bigger. I swear she is growing inches and pounds each day. She is getting four molars and a couple other little teeth, so she is a little edgy. She really enjoys playing outside with the big girls.
Mike is doing well. He's itching to go fishing and camping, so we'll probably be off one of these weekends. The problem is that every week day is beautiful and then it rains on the weekends.
I have been doing great. I've even been taking time to read. I started a book club for my church and we are reading one book per month. We get together and discuss what we read. I LOVE that group. It's been so long since I've let myself read for fun. Then I am in that writing group too. These ladies are very fun and inspiring. I haven't had time to "write" much, but if I keep at it I will eventually get something written.
I've gotten the collection process for the school's playground Walk-A-Thon started finally. For the next two weeks the kids will be collecting money. On June 14th, they do their walking. School gets out on the 17th. It seems like a long school year. I can't wait for summer. The playground stuff is always on my mind, so I'm looking forward to the break.
The whole of this website isn't working currently, but I thought it was important to at least get an update online for you.
We love you all and miss you! Bye for now.
