Keeping Busy

Well, our county is flooding today. The schools here were all cancelled. I was going to be the speaker today at our MOPS group, but it got cancelled too. I needed the extra practice because I get to be a professional (getting paid) speaker on November 20th at a big church in Tacoma. I'm nervous about that one. Anyways, in case you've seen our area on the news, know that we are doing fine. Our house is not in the flood plane...we're pretty sure anyway. They are evacuating a few areas. Mike's mom and dad might have to leave their house because it is right down there in that area. Hopefully it doesn't do anything to them since they are in the process of selling their house. Mike took the camera in to town, so maybe we'll have some pictures of the the flooding later. I know I need to get some regular pictures up for you too.

The girls have been playing playdoh like crazy these days. I'm glad they like it so much. Kelby is quite the sculpture artist. She can make the cutest little mice.

We've been having some lazy weekends. It's been raining a lot here...obviously that's why we are flooding. We went to the pumpkin farm this weekend. I can't believe that it is that time of year again. This month has flown by.

I guess that I'll be done selling Stampin' Up! for good now. I didn't sell enough this last quarter and only have until the end of this month to sell about $180 more. I don't think I'll be able to that, but that's okay. I have lots of other things to focus on these days. I'll miss my discount on paper though. This coming weekend I get to go to another 24 hour scrapbooking event! I can't wait. It will be the last one for awhile since the baby will be born. I need to get all caught up on scrapbooking for this year.

I've figured out how to record the girl's voices on my Pocket PC now, so hopefully soon I'll get some of those voice recordings online. It's tough to keep up on all these things. Now I have to start working on the talk I'll be giving in November. It is called "Simply Christmas" and it is about making Christmas wonderful, but low stress. It is for an outreach event for a big church. There might be as many as 600 women there that night. That's a little intimidating. It will be okay because the lady that is running it is looking for just what I have already prepared...only geared towards Christmas. I just need to get it organized. I guess that's what I'll be working on today.

I hope that everyone is doing great right now. We are all happy and healthy here!
