Doing Great!

Happy Holidays to all. It has been busy, but not stressful around here. We are all doing really well. Another month has come and gone. Thanksgiving was a nice holiday, then we got a week of snow! That threw off the schedule for awhile. Tegan missed for days of school last week! Kelby missed two full days and had late start on two more days. They played out in the snow all day.

While I was stuck at home I finished another home project. I made a mantel in my front room. It doesn't encase a fireplace, but rather our tv. It looks so cute when I turn on our fireplace video. I'll post a picture soon. Oh, and pictures of the girls too! Ha,ha,ha.

Otherwise we have been getting ready for Christmas. We've got the house decorated and started buying presents. The girls are enjoying my advent activity calendar again. We do something every day (mostly).

Anika is very excited about Santa this year. I don't know how she knows so much about him. She even mentions him in her prayers. Her prayers go like this: "A Dod...a mommy...a daddy...Tubby... Teggy....a Santa...a food...a love you...amen!" Dod is God. Tubby is Kelby. She's just listing all that she is thankful for. How can you not adore that?

Tegan and Kelby are enjoying school. Especially since they got so much time off! They got their "report cards" today, but I haven't checked them yet. They are both doing well. I started volunteering in Tegan's room to help the kids paint. Anika comes and is a very good girl. She just joins in with the big kids doing whatever they are doing.

Although I'm stuck out in Sedro-Woolley more this year since I have to be home at 11:15 and again at 3:00 to get the girls off the bus, I am enjoying it. I make short grocery runs when I can. Anika and I are good buddies. Life is good.

I have been knitting a bit again. That must be a winter sport. It is so much fun to enjoy a cup of coffee by the "fire" while I knit. This is my favorite season. We are busy, but it is all good, family fun.

Kelby seems to be as healthy as can be, so we are very thankful this year! It has been six years since her diagnoses now. Wow, what a miracle. Thank you, Lord, for all the girls' healthy bodies and for our Kelby miracle!

This weekend is Kelby and Tegan's program at church. They have been practicing for months now. Both are excited. They even each have a little talking line in a song. We'll be videoing for sure. It always makes me cry because it is so precious.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their Christmas season. No stressing out now! Relax and enjoy every moment. Love to you all.
