Sedro-Woolley has a ton of great 4th activities, so we get to stay close to home. Our traditional Fourth of July activities always start with the Loggerrodeo Race. Mike runs the 5K every year.
The girls and I take the opportunity to scope out our parade route viewing spot. This is always a challenge because people come and line the street with their folding chairs in the middle of the night, taking all the best spots long before we get there 2 hours early!
The weather was perfect this year!! We got a spot in the shade to watch the parade. The girls scored a ton of candy as always.
After the parade we went home and Great Grampa Lohman came over to play a game called Fast Track with us. It’s a great game that is a mixture of Aggravation with decks of cards.
That afternoon we all took naps and got up about 7:00 pm! Mike popped a ton of popcorn and we rode our bikes down to our neighborhood park. The girls played while we waited for the fireworks display. It was fun to ride our bikes in the dark on the way home while everyone lit their personal fireworks. Quite the adventure!
We had a very nice holiday! Hope you all did too!
