I love Ali Edwards’ blog. She is a pretty famous scrapbooker/blogger with great ideas, but my favorite is her inspiration each year to pick “One Little Word” at the beginning of the year. Here is a link to her newest challenge for your “One Little Word”.
I’m afraid to tell you all what my “One Little Word” is because if I fail at achieving it, those I love the most will be the ones that have lost out. Well, okay…I’ll tell you anyway and do my best to keep at it. It is AFFECTION. Lately I have been recognizing how love doesn’t count unless those you love know it. Just like “thank you” doesn’t count unless you actually say it. Love is an action word, so this year I chose the word AFFECTION because, to me, it is an active word that describes the demonstration of love. You can love someone, but if they don’t know it, feel it, or hear it, does it count?
Choosing “One Little Word” is so much better than a New Year’s Resolution. There is no success or failure…just something to work toward. Give it a try yourself!
PS. I loved this cool tool for spelling with pictures! I tried to spell “affection”, but it was too long to fit.
SO TRU SWEETIE...I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WE LOVE YOU...AND YOU ALWAYS MAKE US FEEL LOVED...THANKYOU:)
