We went for a walk in the rain the other day with umbrellas in hand. The girls ran through the puddles and had so much fun...until Kelby got too wet. She doesn't much like having wet clothes on. It was a picture perfect morning, but I forgot to bring my camera.
Tegan has learned to say "lub you" (love you). I tried to get it recorded, but she just eats the microphone instead. She also says phrases like "sat noise?" (what's that noise?) and "what happen?" (what happened?). She understands everything we say to her and she amazes us with the things she knows...like she pointed out a turtle to us in her book the other day...and we didn't even know she knew what a turtle was.
Kelby is learning how to write some of her letters now. I love having a books and games that teach them. It gives her something to do and it teaches her too. She is a very smart girl. It amazes me what she remembers! I should appreciate this time in their lives. They are both learning and they still listen to me.
We have just been living life these days. Kelby had some diarrhea for about 5 days so I started to get really worried. Diarrhea is a possible symptom of Neuroblastoma. I finally called a girlfriend and found out that her little boy had the same thing and Kelby had been playing with him...I said, "I'm so glad that he's sick too!" She understood. Anyways, she is getting better today.
One day over a week ago the girls and I went flying kites with Heather, Emma, and Naomi. It was a beautiful day with lots of wind. It was so windy that both our big kites broke off. It was a pretty funny site to see the mommies chasing after them.
We went to Kelby's friend's birthday party yesterday at a place called Jungle Playland. They had so much fun. There was a huge ball pit and they "swam" through there most of the time. Tegan was jumping around like Tigger the whole time because she was so happy.
It would be so much better if I could write a little bit every other day instead of whole bunch every other week. I have started working on yet another website. This time it is for our MOPS group. I'm not going to be in the leadership next year, but this website is my way of helping them out. I'll get it all set up and then they can email me whatever they want to put on it. I think it will help them to stay organized and to communicate to the group and within the steering team. I'm very excited to be a background helper next year. I guess I love making websites now. I wish I could do it as a home business. It takes a lot of time though...and I don't like to work on it too much when the girls are up. I get way too engrossed in it.
The weather is just beautiful here. It has been sunny most of the time, but we still go out and play in the rain when it does rain.
I need to get busy and make some military and patriotic polymer clay pens...and other crafts to sell. I want to do some craft shows in the fall, so I better to some work now.
All in all, we are doing great. We get to go to Arizona at the end of April! Yeah. We can't wait. Kelby will probably have scans sometime in April. I called to get the ball rolling yesterday so I'll let you all know when they get scheduled. Bye for now.
