We've been having people over lately. Our house is getting used and we love it! Mike set up Badminton and invited his sports friends over for a BBQ on Memorial Day. It was a very nice time. Then on Friday, we hosted a "Simple Supper" for our church which is a small potluck for 4 couples and the kids. Everyone seemed to have a good time eating tacos and playing more Badminton. This morning after church we had the family over to help us finish eating taco stuff and watch a movie since it was rainy. Lots of fun had by our family in the last week!
Yesterday I got to go to the Ladies Brunch again. I found it very soothing and refreshing. I hope I get to go most months. It is the first Saturday of every month.
Kelby had her field trip to the Ice Rink in Bellingham on Friday. I got to go while Tegan and Anika stayed with Debbie. It was a wonderful fieldtrip...the perfect one for Kelby since she's wanted to go there since we mentioned the possiblity on Christmas Eve! She took off and knew exactly what she was doing from the very beginning. I was very impressed.
There are only 10 days of school left so Kelby and I are excited about that (me even more than her I think.) Now we get to have my mom come to visit then too, so we are even more excited!
Nothing much else is going on here now that I've gotten out of most of my obligations. We do have a bible study here on Wednesday mornings. Tegan enjoys that because there are so many kids over to play! I enjoy it too...reading and discussing the bible with friends. I've needed it!
I know I need to get some pictures up for you all. I'll try to get a system figured out here soon. Happy June!
