Padilla Bay Field Trip

On Monday Kelby had a field trip all day at Padilla Bay. It has an interpretive center where they showed movies and explained the kinds of animals we’d see on the beach. We got to then go down to the beach and collect crabs, plants, and other crazy creatures. Then we got to look at them under the microscopes. It was pretty amazing.

Checking out zooplankton and phytoplankton in the water! Have you ever seen the creatures in barnacles? Very cool!
